Wie funktioniert ein Lastverteiler?

Ein Client fordert eine Seite aus www.yourshop.com an.

Der Lastverteiler leitet diese Anforderung an eine Gruppe identischer Webserver weiter.

Der Webserver sendet seine Antwort direkt an den Client, ohne von der Umleitung Notiz genommen zu haben.

Und hier die gute Nachricht:

Entdeckt der Lastverteiler ein Problem bei einem der Webserver, nimmt er ihn automatisch aus dem Cluster, bis er wieder funktionstüchtig ist. Wenn Sie Wartungsarbeiten durchführen müssen, können Sie beliebige Server aus dem Cluster entfernen, ohne dass Ihre Clients davon betroffen sind. Haben Sie einen plötzlichen Geschäftsanstieg zu verzeichnen, müssen Sie einfach nur mehr Server hinzufügen.
